Ur Tempo! is an online education platform, founded by graduates from the Brooklyn College School of Education: New York City’s most comprehensive teacher preparation program. Our staff members are very passionate about the subjects that we teach, and we all agree: you shouldn’t have to spend years and your life savings in order to find your next passion.
At Ur Tempo!, we will impart the marketable life skills that you need in order to achieve your goals. Learning isn’t always easy, but it should never be stressful. Get to know our team!
Hello, my name is Brance! I’m a graduate of Brooklyn College’s School of Education and Conservatory of Music, and have studied teaching theory at Monroe College, Alaska Pacific University, and SUNY Cobleskill. I’ve also taught and assisted in the teaching of students within public and private school systems. Having previously worked in fields such as engineering and security, I believe that I can serve others best as a teacher. If you want to learn a new skill, talk to me about music theory or general education, and I’ll help you discover or develop your new passion!
It’s great to see you’re here! My name’s Marie and I have a dream of being able to educate students from all walks of life with my own resources and dedication. After completing an English Education degree from Brooklyn College I knew that starting my own business and being a leader is what I craved most from life. I’ve held many job positions, but the one that I most enjoyed was in the field of education. With that same passion, I want to someday be able to teach English Literature to any student that wants to learn. Join me in my efforts to build an education that students are interested in and will remember for life!

We have taught and learned inside and outside of the continental United States, as well as overseas. We respect all cultures, religions, and political backgrounds, but we prefer to focus on the things we have in common: a desire to learn!

We believe it’s never too early or too late to begin learning a new skill. If you have chosen to invest your time in learning with us, you deserve to be taught the way that works best for you. At Ur Tempo!, we want you to be in control of your education. Your questions and thoughts are always valid, so our staff never believes for a second that we can’t learn from you while you’re learning from us.
Our Programs
Everyone has a strength in their own area of intelligence, and everyone learns best when that area of intelligence is focused on. Academic institutions are not often afforded the time needed to address individual learning differences, but Ur Tempo! specializes in honing in on your strength and using it to make learning easier than its ever been before. Our programs are prepared by people who have taught in both public and private school systems, but we will always tailor them based on you and your personal preferences.
